Lockn in Review

Epic, historical, amazing, mind blowing… all of these words can be used to describe the 2019 Lockn Music Festival at Oak Ridge Farm in Virginia. Performances of rock, jam, blues, funk, and reggae graced the revolving stage this weekend and the fans loved it. Especially for the Tedeschi Trucks Band. First Derek played with the Trey Anastatio Band on Friday night and Susan even came out for a song or two. Then Trey joined TTB’s second set on Saturday night, along with Doyle Bramhall II, for a never before heard, full cover, of Derek and the Domino’s legendary Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs album. Derek even brought out his Les Paul Goldtop, 1 serial number off of Duane Allman’s original! As if that wasn’t enough, our crew closed out the festival with a Susan joining Bob Weir for a beautiful Sunday night show.

If you missed the festival, we are truly sorry. However you can read the Rolling Stone review, check out pictures across all social media or watch a re-run of the livestreams or a recorded video of “Little Wing” .
